| Historical 14th century and fiction beautifully combined | |
|  | I was really exited about the sequel to "Pillars of the Earth", but also a bit skeptical. Could it be as good as the first book? Yes, it absolutely is again, a fantastic book. Follett knows how to keep you reading. He talent to paint (14th century) history into a fiction story is fully believable.
Despite the 1200 pages, I read it in 2,5 weeks (and I work full time...).
